About me.
Hi, I’m Paul. I’ve spent 15+ years finding stories in raw footage.
At Element Animation I built Minecraft campaigns for Mojang and Microsoft. More recently I’ve edited travel vlogs and brand documentaries, weaving interviews and footage into coherent narratives, and made television for Estuary TV and content for brands including Starbucks UK.
Here’s what drives the work: I love the small stuff. The meticulous timing of a cut, the music drop, the right sound to create a perfect moment. Those moments shape how a whole project feels, and that attention to detail is how footage goes from competent to compelling.
I can do flashy cuts and transitions, but I know the difference between flash and substance. The story comes first, always. Stories that hit, with sound to match.
It started young, designing membership cards for a Star Wars club in CorelDRAW, and I’ve been making things ever since, including photography. The pictures here are a few of mine.
